Overview

UT-792i industrial PCI-E multiport serial adapter is compatible with RS-422/485 standard, it converts PCI-E signal to balanced differential RS-422/485 signal. With built-in optoelectronic isolator and instant voltage control protector, it is designed to protect RS-422/485 ports; it adopts advanced TVS (TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SUPPERSSOR) instant voltage control. In normal situation, TVS tube is in high impedance state; when both ends of TVS tube are impacted by high power instantly, it lowers the impedance with super high speed, and absorbs high current, so as to limit the voltage from both ends in a pre-value, and protect the circuit components from damage by high voltage impact. This protector is with lightning and ESD protection, provides 2,000V each wire with lightning surge protection, and surge voltage and instant overvoltage protection on circuit which causing by all reasons; the tiny interelectrode capacitance ensures high speed transmission for RS-422/485 ports.
